About Sawyer

Sawyer is a very handsome boy, estimated to be about 3.5 years old. He is neutered, microchipped, fully vaccinated, tested negative for heartworms and has no known medical concerns. Sawyer has been non-reactive to other dogs and does well with the public in large crowd settings, and he absolutely loves to play ball. Sawyer would do best in a home with no small children but older children he does fine with. Cats or other small animals are not a good fit, either. His former family says this about him: 1) he allows his nails to be trimmed and dremeled 2) walks well on a leash 3) crate trained 4) love ice cubes -thinks they are a treat 5) sit and lies down 6) enjoys cuddle time 7) has an iron stomach- can take tri-heart plus & simparica chewable (flea & tick) in same day) with no adverse effects. We think he would be great with an active family that can help him get plenty of exercise and release energy. He will need continued and patient obedience training to build his confidence.
