About Diesel

Diesel is an unaltered, 45 lb, 2-4 y/o male labrador retriever. The shelter described Diesel as 'one of those interesting stories.' Officers and citizens chased him and tried to coax him with cheeseburgers for over a month. Diesel does good on a leash, and he is crate and potty trained. He is absolutely GREAT with both genders pf adults and kids, and he loves other dogs and cats! Diesel wants nothing more than to just follow his people around the house and lay in you lap or at your feet. He enjoys car rides and playing in the yard. His foster brother taught him how to howl at emergency vehicle sirens, which makes the neighbors laugh! Diesel has some kind of history, and he will shy away from hands/arms being raised quickly and/or if something is in you hand :( He has a very mild case of food protection; he will bark if another animals gets too close to his food. He has ZERO issues with any human (adult or child) handing his food, taking away his food, and/or going near his food. This great dog gets looked over because he is a medium-sized black dog.
