About Chloe

My name is Chloe, here is my story... I began life sometime at the beginning of 2017 in Flora Vista, NM. My owner was not supposed to have me and severely neglected me. When I was discovered by the homeowner (cowering under a bed), I was kicked outside in the cold. I was approx. 3 months old. I wore a puppy harness. Shortly after that, my owner opened my pen and left without me. I was alone and on my own. There was a busy highway beside me and houses all around me with big scary people and dogs. I lived in a pasture with no shelter and only other wildlife to show me how to survive. The Fourth of July was the scariest day of my life. Loud noise now really scares me. When I was approx. 6 months old, my current human kept trying to catch me. My harness was amputating my leg. She succeeded in tricking me, caught me, doctored me, sent me to a scary vet, and brought me to her home. I love it here. I like going on rides in her truck, too. She has three other big dogs, though, and I have a tough time getting along with the 10 year old female. My human wants to keep me, but we are all unsure how our futures together will hold up with no supervision. My human says I need a female to love me. Someone with a soft voice, quiet home, secure yard, and gentle hands. I have already proven to be a great protector. She says I am good on a leash, also. I have learned to use a doggy door, I sleep in a crate, and I love to be petted. If you are interested in me, please contact my human, Stacy.
