About Rex

I recently adopted Rex and fell in love with him the second he came home, he was great with my cats in the house and was an overall sweetheart to anyone he met! Everything was doing well until I low-fat him alone for 5 minuets and he starting whining for me constantly, since then he hasn't been able to last more than a few seconds without me and he gets insecure when I'm not home. He needs a home that understands his separation anxiety and is able to have someone home most of the time, I also think if he's living with another dog that might help a lot. He takes a few seconds to get used to strangers but has never been aggressive, he usually just waits for me to let him know they aren't a threat. The picture I posted of him isn't super recent, he is now 4 months old and pretty big for his age so he needs a home who can train him properly and socialize him while he's young. He listens very well to me and I can take him for walks without leash, the only problem he has is potty training which he's usually fine with as long as you take him out regularly. He is up to date on all of his shots and has been dewormed, he has nerve damage on his paw from scratching at his cage too much so he has a limp, this will heal over the next 6 months.
