About Ashland

7 year old, yellow lab mix, 70 lb female dog. Ashland has been in a loving home for the last 6 years. Sadly family is seeking a new home for Ashland as they recently had a baby and Ashland does not do well with children or babies under the age of 15. Ashland has received extensive training both with children and obedience. She is house and leash trained. Ashland is a very loving and cuddly dog. She does not bark and is able to wait to go to the bathroom until she is let outside or taken on a walk. She loves playing and being active. She makes a wonderful companion giving unconditional love and attention to her family. She has passed several temperament tests at different doggie day cares. She attends a doggy day care center once a week currently and the owner reports that she is a wonderful dog and gets along well with the other dogs. Ashland is a quick learner and is easily trained. She is in wonderful health and has no significant health concerns or past health issues. She is up to date on all of her shots, medical files will be shared. Ashland enjoys going on walks, runs, hikes outside, laying in the sun, playing catch/fetch, car rides, playing with other dogs, snuggling, while she is not a great swimmer she gets better ever summer and enjoys fetching a stick into water and swimming around, playing tug a war with her toys and playing in snow. She needs to be with a family that does not have any young children in the house or around. She would be best in a home with adults of 15+ year olds.
