About Audi

We are looking for a special home for this special boy with a heart on his nose - his name is Audi. Audi exhibits fear aggression, particularly around men. Our male kennel staff are working hard using lots of treats, praise, and love to help him gain confidence and trust. We are hoping a committed adopter will put forth the same effort so he can have his second chance at finding a home. Audi will need any interested adopter to be patient with him as he adjusts. Treats and yummy food are definitely the way to this pup's heart. Audi will do best in a home without children. We want to set him up for success and are also committed to finding the perfect adopter for him - someone with experience with scared and unsocialized dogs would be absolutely perfect. Once Audi learns that he is safe with you, he will climb right into your lap and just hang out there. He'll ask for belly rubs, give kisses, and is always gives his full attention. Audi has shown some anxious behaviors - like chasing his tail - so we are teaching him and re-directing him when that happens. He has already improved which is awesome! Audi has met a few shelter pups and seems to enjoy the interaction with them. We think he'd be a great fit if any dog in the home was submissive. We also think Audi would do just fine as the only furbaby. Audi is a pup that does need a bit more TLC than others. We can see him really trying to come out of his shell. All we need is an adopter who is willing to put forth the effort for him, too.
