About Willy

Willy is fostered in York, PA through United Yorkie Rescue http://unitedyorkierescue.org. Willy is estimated to be 8 year old and 11 lbs. This sweet Silky Terrier boy came to United Yorkie Rescue in March 2018 as an owner surrender, his family was facing eviction and turned to UYR as their only option. Willy was very loved by his family but sadly was not given the vetting needed so Willy has been catching up on his neuter, vaccinations, dental needs and so on. He's heart worm and lyme disease negative. His teeth are now in great shape and he's feeling snappy! Willy loves everyone! He rides well in the car and loves to go for a walk; he's leash and harness trained. Willy gets along with all his foster siblings (large and small, dogs and cats) and is already a member of the pack. He loves to play fetch and listens well. Willy sits patiently until his bowl is placed in front of him and will alert when he has to go outside to do his business. He's an all-around great little fella! The ideal family for Willy will be a mom or dad that is home most of the time, Willy loves to be with his human(s) and we think he deserves this accommodation. Willy will also benefit by having another fur baby in the home, a dog his size would be best. Willy needs a family that is willing to take him for a daily walk or has a fenced yard he can play in, provide lots of cuddle time, patience with potty training as he settles in, and will love him unconditionally!
