About Cinnamon and Ginger

Cinnamon and Ginger are bonded 8 year old girls looking for love! Healthy and happy, Cinnamon weighs 17 pounds and Ginger weighs 19 pounds. Cinnamon and Ginger are smart and obedient. They use a doggy door at their foster home in Louisiana. House trained, these girls have not had any accidents in their foster home. Like all dachshunds they will need to be confident in their environment to have good potty habits. All rescue dogs go thru a period of adjustment so understanding and patience is important. These fun loving girls enjoy car rides and are sweeting and accepting of everyone they meet. They get along well with other dogs and children of all ages. They enjoy playtime and hope to find a home that will give them lots of love and attention. They have not been tested with kitties but our foster can arrange for them to be tested. Cinnamon and Ginger love to go for walks and are very happy girls. They love to sleep in the big bed and would like a home where they can continue to have big bed privileges. Like most dachshunds these girls love to EAT and they are working with their foster to lose a few pounds. They are becoming more active as they slim down and enjoy play time and walks.
