About Marley

We really thought the third adoption for this beautiful boy was the charm - but no such luck. This is Marley. His reasoning for three returns after his adoption are always the same 'he is an escape artist'. He is almost 4 years old but still has a ton of energy in typical Boxer fashion. He does fine with other dogs - can not do cats and is fine with kids. Unfortunately this last return is a little different - when he escaped a neighbor tried to grab him and he nipped them. He obviously needs a fenced in yard BUT that doesn't seem to be enough - he needs to find someone who is VERY conscious about opening the door to where he can get into an area with no containment. He isn't a bad dog - just lots of energy and LOVES to run. Little kids in the house won't work with him because of the running out the door when it gets opened. He can not live in Osage, Iowa because of his 'bite history'. We don't see a mean bone in his body but if he is focused on running and gets grabbed apparently he reacts. He is housebroken. He is neutered and all of his shots are current.
