About Jack

Jack is very VERY sweet and cuddly!! He loves everyone he meets including kids. I'm pretty sure he would be in heaven if he had his own person to sleep with every night!! He rides well in a car, but he isn't crazy about it (yet!!). He is not quite a year old and so far only rides to the vet but if someone rode him fun places I'm pretty sure he would learn to love it!! He is a rescue dog that has lived with us for 8 mos. We live in the country so when we take him for walks he stays with us, therefore he has not learned to walk on a leash. But he is pretty smart and could be taught fairly easy. I don't think he has it very good in his previous house because he gets very frightened if he senses agitation so he needs a gentle environment. He is house trained. He has never been alone on a daily basis and I'm not sure if he would be happy in a home where that would occur. He has always lived with other dogs and gets along well with them. He has never lived with a cat but I think he would be fine with it if they were properly introduced. He doesn't have a mean bone in his body so I just don't see him being mean to a cat!! He is around a year old. All of his shots are up to date (rabies due in August). His heart worm is up to date. I can provide vet records. Please call or text if you would like to meet Jack.
