About Snow AKA Possum

Poor Little Possum (aka Snow) was on the URGENT List at NYC ACC. He was so severely matted that he couldn't even walk. He had urine burns on his legs and feet from someone obviously caging him without allowing him to go potty outside. His teeth were in terrible shape and he needs a dental ASAP! This poor baby was so scared in the shelter so we pulled him out as soon as we could. We took him to our vet right away and then scheduled his neuter and dental which has already been done. He lost quite a few of teeth but is now completely healed and feeling SO MUCH BETTER! We believe Possum is approximate between 7-10 years old but acts much younger now that he is out of the shelter and feeling better. He loves to lap and cuddle and will be someones new best friend! He love other dogs but can be overly attentive and not give them much space so he may be better as an only dog. He is a super sweet sweet boy. This boy needs a loving home where he will get the attention he never had in his previous life. He is such a sweet boy and anyone would be lucky to have this beautiful soul in their family. He needs a steady schedule of frequent walks and outside time so there are no accidents inside and he has been REALLY good at the foster's house. He is really good about waiting or going on a wee wee pad if you happen to be out too long. He loves to be with his people but is ok staying home alone as well. He would do great in a home with seniors or someone that works part time or works from home. He is good with everyone and is just a big luv bug!
