About Mario

Mario is a 6 year Toy Fox Terrier who is a joy 90% of the time. the last 10% of the time he is horrible. He has bitten almost everyone that has come into our home, he is small so damage is minimal but can cause damage to children. He cannot be around any children, he becomes instantly aggressive. Again, he bites - our vet has recommended putting him down, another home is a dream scenario for us as we are devastated by this news. He is dominant on walks around other dogs. He is potty trained and on a strict schedule, can follow basic commands when he wants to. He has so much personality! We cannot afford professional training, this is our first dog and we have exhausted our capabilities. He would do great with a one to two person home with no children and lots of room to run around outside. We have his medical history, had hip dysplasia surgery 3 years ago and is doing well from that. He is on prescription dog food that keeps him regular, we order 30lb bags from chewy that last about a 1.5 months, not a major expense. We are hoping to find him a loving home where he can be happy and well cared for with someone who knows how to handle these behavioral issues better than we can.
