About Samson

Samson is a 3 year old male Lab who has been rescued by our partner organisation in Qatar. He was formerly trained to be a sniffer dog in Qatar but he wasn't very good at his 'job' so he was dumped. He is a very smart and loving lab despite not making the best sniffer dog! He is great with kids (he is currently in a foster home with small children now), and he is NOT safe with cats. He is still very bouncy and boisterous and can be slightly dominant with other dogs, but with an experienced owner this shouldn't be an issue. He is neutered and up to date on all shots and we are looking to have him fly over to Boston Logan on the 12th of April. We are giving preference to 'direct adopters' ie: a family that could meet him at the airport when he comes off the flight as we are hoping to have several dogs come over on that flight. We are obviously very happy to put potential adopters in touch with previous families who have adopted dogs in this manner from us once we have your application in. We would also put you in touch with the other adopters that will also be picking up their dogs off the same flight and walk you through the entire process of adoption and pick up. His adoption fee covers his flight to the US, vaccinations, neuter surgery and pre flight health check. He will come with all his vaccination and health paperwork. He is also micro-chipped (his microchip number will be on all of his flight paperwork). Please send us an email is you would like us to send you an adoption application.
