About Sophia

Sophia is a 3-4 yr old Pitbull terrier that was confiscated from her owner who was arrested. She lived in a homeless camp and was beaten regularly by her owner. The shelter staff fell in love with her and asked our rescue to save her. She has been chewed up by other dogs, most likely in the homeless camp and bonds deeply with her owner. She would do well in a home as the only pet, although she can walk with and around other dogs while on leash with no issues. She is a good watch dog. Sophie needs a home where she will be a companion. SHe rides well in the car and is very loving with humans. We hope that she will find the right home and owner who will help her gain back her confidence and not have to be abused anymore. Please email me for more information about her.
