Bunni is a 6 year old female Pitt Bull who was used as a bait dog. When we rescued her, another dog had almost destroyed her face. One of her eyes was just barely in the socket and the top of her head was nearly scalped. We spent $2000 to repair the damage and rehabilitate her. She has lived with us over a year and we feel she is being robbed by living here at our rescue instead of having a loving home of her own. Obviously she is scared of other dogs and do not trust them. But on her own, she is the most loving little girl (she weighs about 45 lbs) and with the right person--she loves to play. Bunni is housetrained and crate trained. She is not destructive and has done well when we brought her in the house--as long as no other dogs were around. Simply stated, with us constantly in the flux of dog rescues, she just does not get the love & attention she wants and deserves. If you feel you have the perfect home for Bunni, please contact us. She will make someone a loyal, loving companion. We require vet references and a fenced yard for all of our potential adopters. Thank you!
