About Lulue

Little Lulue is a very unique female dog that came to us from a woman who had too many dogs and needed to give some away. WE wanted to take her to TRACS as she definitely needed to be placed in a special home. Lulue has no body hair and has wisps of hair on her head only. He hair is blonde but sparse. Early on she was determined to have a demodex mange which is a skin mite that does cause hair loss when a dog is highly stressed, which I am sure she has been. She has successfully been treated long ago for that skin condition. But, she has not grown hair back and basicly has skin only. WE do believe now that her breed is Chinese Crested with shihtzu as a mixture, due to her having a shihtzu body frame. But the only place on her body with hair is her head! She will need a special home where she can wear clothes daily for warmth and she will need lotion or vitamin E oil periodically on her skin. The great thing is she will likely be very hypoallergenic. Her adoption fee is $200 and a microchip will be sent with her for application at her first vet visit for free.
