About Gretchen

Gretchen. She is 5 years old and the mother of Sister and Brownie, who were adopted. Lets pay attention to Gretchen! Gretchen has been here a couple months. And now, one of the chosen house dogs. Totally trustworthy inside. She holds it, or uses the dog door, and respects boundaries, like the threshold of an open door. She is very well mannered. She knows better. Turn key dog. She's great on or off a leash. She simply becomes your dog. Gretchen is fantastic with other dogs, in a pack or one on one. She's the sweetest most affectionate girl ever! She loves to give kisses and wants pets, and wants to be everywhere you are. She's not shy, very well balanced, happy girl. At 5 years old, Gretchen still has all the energy her 18 mo. pups have. She needs someone active! So don't let the premature grey grizzling on her muzzle fool ya! She's a typical young border collie! Normally a dog like Gretchen wouldn't be here more than a day. But there have been quite a few her age, with less energy, that some older folks were more comfortable with. Gretchen would do great on a property with no fences. She only wants to be with her family, pack and person.
