About Jolie

Meet Jolie! Jolie is about 10-11 weeks old, weights about 8 pounds and she is a Coconut Retrievers (mixed island dogs). Jolie was rescued along with her siblings (Jett, June and Joy) from Saint Maarten. Saint Maarten is a beautiful island, but life can be difficult for dogs especially now after the hurricanes. Fresh water is hard to find as well as food. A woman dropped the siblings off in a box to the SMX Paws shelter and they reached out to FHDR. We transported the siblings to the NJ to live in foster homes. This is what Jolie's family says about her�'�|.'Jolie is a friendly, playful puppy! When she's sleepy, she is a cuddlier and could sleep on you for hours. Jolie is outgoing, curious and smart. And, she loves to explore! Jolie enjoys playing with balls and stuff toys and playing with my dog. And she enjoys going for walks. Jolie is a very silly and playful and my daughters love her! Jolie has a silky soft black coat with white on the tips of her 2 back paws, chest and under her chin. She is beautiful!' Please note, the breeds on the island are different than in the US. So we can't tell for sure what breed Jolie is, but what we do know is she is 100% sweetness. Please note we do not adopt puppies/dogs to homes where they will be alone all day. The breed and age of this pet is listed as is our best guess. We have no background info on who the mom and dad are. We do not have a shelter facility you can visit.
