Riggs is about a year and a half and a big sweetheart. He has a skin condition that makes him very itchy and uncomfortable and we are no longer able to afford to treat it. We have been to multiple vets and have tried creams, pills, diet changes, shampoos and many other suggested and prescribed treatments to no avail. Due to our work schedules, Riggs spends the majority of the day in his crate as well as sleeping in it overnight. He is a good dog; he just needs more training that we cannot afford. He requires a lot of attention and affection that our work schedules do not allow. He needs to be somewhere with a large enclosed space to run and play. We want to make sure he goes to a new home where he will be loved and well treated. Riggs loves to cuddle and sit on laps. His favorite toys are ropes. He gets loud during games of tug-of-war, but it just means he's having fun. Riggs is a big baby despite his aggressive sounding growls. He is afraid of water, so he hates the rain and prefers to watch his friends swim from the safety of dry land. Riggs is very good at chewing and would rather lay down and chew than play fetch.
