Meet GEORGIA, a sweet and beautiful 2 year old, 47 lb Hound/Pit Bull mix recently rescued from a high kill shelter. Everyone at the shelter loved GEORGIA; she was a volunteer favorite. Spend a few minutes with her and you will know why. She is a very happy dog with endearing expressions including a smile that will turn any frown upside down. At the shelter she was friendly and playful with other dogs and fine with cats too. She is in a terrific foster home now and her foster mom shared the following with us: 'I can't emphasize enough how sweet and gentle Georgia is. She is Playful, Friendly, Quiet, Calm, Affectionate, Gentle and she is also beautiful. She gets along very well with our dogs, has no reaction except curiosity with our cat, and plays well with both of my young children.' Georgia is house broken, good on a leash, non destructive and she has great house manners. She is smart as well and learning basic commands like sit, stay, leave it and come.
