About Pumpkin

Hi everyone, my aunt is very sick and can no longer take care of her cat. She is an indoor only female, spayed, about 3 years old, a regular domestic shorthair. She uses pine pellets (usually this) or clay litter in an uncovered litter box. She is VERY playful and energetic, she can jump very high, loves to chase after tennis ball/jingly ball and there is a ball she will sometimes bring back. She absolutely loves window watching and she loves water! She will drink water from the tap, jump into the bath tub, and jump into a bathroom sink! She doesn't mind baths at all, it's drying off with a towel she doesn't like! She has feline upper respiratory infection (runny nose, eye discharge) which can flare up even more especially if she is stressed out. For this, she gets L-Lysine in her food to control symptoms, but unfortunately it's not curable. She will come with all her supplies, such as a lot of dry food, bowls, scratching board, bed, toys, litter boxes, toothpaste/toothbrush, rubber brush, a bottle of L-lysine pills (she gets 1 a day). She does not use flea medication because after she got some one time, she lost a small, round patch of fur and the fur grew back so slowly. She's an indoor cat anyway, so no need for the harsh chemicals. She has not gotten any vaccines recently because she has had vaccine reactions. My aunt would like if she went to a home with a cat lover (no dogs or small kids, please/not sure about other cats but feline uri is contagious between cats), because although she is a great cat, she can get easily stressed out. I live in Nassau County, Long Island, NY and I can't travel far. Asking for 25 to make sure she goes to the right home.
