Belle gave birth to 6 babies that all look mostly like her. She was rescued from a house where a person had too many cats. Belle's foster said she is super nice and very chill. She is really cute and friendly. Belle has been a great mom. Belle lets her foster mom handle her easily by picking her up, carrying her and petting her while carrying her. Belle is 2 years old and is FIV+. Belle's Vet said her birthday is March 28, 2016. In today's feline World being FIV+ is no longer a death sentence as it was years ago when it was first found in Cats and Kittens. FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus) is a feline only, slow-acting virus. It is so slow to progress that most FIV+ cats die of old age. Once thought to be deadly and highly contagious, it has since been found to be neither. For anyone who is not aware of how FIV is transmitted the following information will be helpful: FIV is mainly passed from cat to cat through deep bite wounds, the kind that usually occurs outdoors during aggressive fights and territorial disputes. This is the perfect reason to keep your cat inside. Another, less common mode of transmission is from an FIV-infected mother cat to her kitten.
