About Lacey

Hi! My name is Lacey, and I'm a sweet, affectionate, laid-back black DSH/ Bombay mix gal who was born in March 2012. I have a sleek, shiny coat that resembles black patent leather and gorgeous copper-penny eyes. My adorable face is a sight for sore eyes, if I do say so myself. I have a slender, lithe body that's surprisingly muscular and heavy. We Bombay mixes have been nicknamed 'Velcro' kitties because we bond so deeply with our humans, and I'm no exception. I love attention, getting petted, and sitting in laps. I get along with other kitties, dogs, kids -- you name it -- I'm affable and amicable. I was adopted from Buster's Friends as a kitten, but somehow I ended up at the SPCA. Foster Meowmy isn't sure why that happened because I'm such a sweet, loving girl. Ah well, folks get divorced, move overseas, have financial reverses. Because of my microchip, I was traced back to Buster's Friends as the purchaser of my chip, and of course, they rushed over to pick me up. I'm just glad to be back in a Buster's Friends' foster home because black kitties do not fare well at shelters. Even though I'm safe and secure in my foster home, I know it would be best for me to have a family and home of my very own. I have so much love to give, and I get along with everybody! There's plenty of households where I'd fit in perfectly. I just want a home that will be mine forever so that I never have to worry about ending up in a shelter again.
