About Ziggy

Hi! I'm Ziggy! You look so nice today! I live in a foster house with other dogs and cats, and there's a horse outside. A horse! The big dogs don't like to get right up next to him, but he and I are really good buddies. When I let him kiss my nose my foster mom calls me fearless and rolls her eyes. She's such a goof sometimes. So I guess I'm supposed to tell you a little about myself, huh? Well foster mom says I have a lot of energy, so she lets me play with the big dogs outside. The cats don't like to play very much, but I keep trying. And boy do they make great snuggle buddies when I'm sleepy! My favorite cuddle buddy is foster mom, though. Sometimes, she lets me sleep with her and it's the best thing ever! Foster mom said to tell you that she thinks I would do best in a home with other dogs or older kids, maybe 5 and up. She said she isn't worried if younger kids are around, but that sometimes I play hard, even for a little dog, so keep an eye on me with younger ones. She also said something about how I'm working on crate training and house training, and that I can sit on command. I don't know what all that means, but please be sure to let her know I told you - she gives me a treat when I do what she says! She said that when she thinks of the kind of family I should have, she thinks of Norman Rockwell paintings of young boys going fishing with their dogs sitting next to them. That sounds like so much fun! Can we do that? Ziggy is a Catahoula Mix born around 1/17/2018. He will be neutered and vaccinated, before going home with his new family. His adoption fee is $85.00 and he will need a fenced yard to keep him safe while outside.
