My name is Hailee, and I am a cuddly, laid-back beauty queen who is looking for a loving family and a comfy castle to call my own. I am a gorgeous, 10-year-old schnauzer/wire-haired terrier mix, and I weigh in at around 25 pounds so I am the perfect size to be your snuggle buddy companion and keep your lap warm! I am like an abstract painting and have one-of-a-kind gray, brown, and tan scruffy hair. My face is my main attraction, and my distinct white eyebrows perfectly highlight my soulful, loving eyes. I think I am so pretty on the outside because I have a beautiful, attentive personality! Fetching Tails saved me from Chicago Animal Care & Control, where I was brought as a stray. My loving foster parents welcomed me to their home with open arms, and I have been relaxing like royalty ever since! I have a very chill personality, and I love the quiet, calm environment of my foster home. My favorite activity in the whole world is snuggling with my humans on the couch and receiving belly rubs. I am sure you have heard the phrase 'man's best friend' before, right? That is definitely true in my case! Don't get me wrong, I adore foster momma, too, but I love be attached at the lap to my foster daddy! I am his little shadow and keep my eyes on him wherever he is. I get along with everyone I meet, but think I would prefer a quiet forever home with adults since the calm lifestyle is definitely my scene! I currently live with another dog and a cat, and I get along well with both of them. I would do best with a calm dog like me in my forever home since I love everything zen! I am a gentle, quiet girl and make an excellent roommate. I take food and my treats gently (did I mention how much I love treats? I hope you will provide me with lots of yummy snacks!), and I am happy when I see my leash for walkie time. I have mastered potty training and know to do my business outside! I do fine relaxing in my favorite comfy nap spots when my foster parents leave the house and don't need to be crated; my foster daddy is retired so I am never left home for more than a couple hours at a time. I am even good in the car! I am so easy going and calm, and dream about my forever home where I can nap and snuggle with my family to my heart's content!
