Peanut is a 4.1 pound pure white male Chihuahua. We believe he's about 12 years old. He belonged to my mother who recently passed away, and we're unable to keep him as we already have several other animals that are not doing well with him in the home. Peanut gets snippy with our cats when they try to play with him. He is also not a fan of being picked up. My mom had rescued him from an abusive household, and he has never gotten over being very timid. The only times we see aggression is when the cats bother him or when get's getting picked up to be carried up stairs. He responds best to adult males. I would not recommend children. He'd do best in a one animal household with someone who can give him lots of patient attention. He gets along ok with our other dog, but he's a loner and chooses to hide away. We don't believe he hears or sees very well. He sleeps in a crate at night and chooses to sleep in his crate during the day, with the door open. As long as you get him outside on a regular schedule, he won't potty in the house.
