About Michelle

Meet Michelle! Michelle is an approx 2 years young mystery breed but there's certainly no doubt about her good looks! Our dear Michelle came to us us after she was brought to animal control by a very uncaring 'owner' that never gave her the chance to learn how to be a dog. She has blossomed into an amazingly happy, friendly and playful girl during her stay with her foster family and making great strides with her training. She will need an understanding adopter, that will be able to work with a pup that just doesn't have a lot of confidence and continue boosting her confidence in new seemingly frightful situations. She is currently residing with another dog, cats and a child. When Michelle came to us she knew literally nothing about life in a home or interacting in the human world. She was afraid just about everything, a collar, the leash, stairs and slippery floors are just a few of the things she had to learn were now normal. Perhaps the saddest thing though, she didn't even know what to do with a toy. She has made such great strides and we are so very proud her for being so brave and conquering so many fears! She has learned to trust and what love is, most importantly happiness. She will still need someone that is willing to continue working with her, shy dogs require consistent training with confidence building.
