About Tattoo

Tattoo is an 8-year-old 23-lb. Rat Terrier with a tough name, a noble bearing, and a tender heart. Very timid and shy at first, Tattoo is looking for a family who will give him time and space to allow his personality to fully show. And what a lovely personality it is! Tattoo is a sweetheart, who loves and appreciates any attention that comes his way. He does well with other dogs and enjoys having a canine playmate, but he shouldn't live with cats or other small animals due to his high prey drive. He is uncomfortable around children and very scared of men, so he would do best in single-female or all-female household. Tattoo is house-trained, but he's still learning not to mark indoors. A belly band helps him remember. Potential adopters should live within driving distance of Lafayette, Indiana, so that they can do face-to-face visits to assess Tattoo's comfort level and to get to know his personality.
