About Dax

Dax is a 10 month old Red Tri Mini who came to ASF as an unsocialized 7 month old puppy. Dax has made great strides in learning to trust and what it means to be a dog! Dax loves to cuddle but can be overly excitable and jump up to give kisses. Even though he came from a home with small children we do not recommend his new home have children (teens would be fine). Dax also needs a dog friend to play with but one that is confident and has a generally calm energy. He can be reactive when the energy gets to be too much. Dax is improving on leash walk and does okay with short distance car rides but he does get extremely car sick for long distance journeys. Overall this pup is a joy to be around and would make a great companion or agility partner. He is house and crate trained, dog and cat friendly. Adopters must be within 2-3 hours of Oklahoma City, OK.
