About Jax

He is about 2 years old and needs a forever home. He is affectionate and enjoys cuddling on the couch. He was a rescue and has had some training but needs an experienced owner that can build trust and a positive relationship. He would not do well with cats. Prefers female dogs. He needs to gain even more confidence to reach his true potential. He likes to ride in the car and enjoys long walks at the park. As with any large breed, he needs lots of exercise on a daily basis. He prefers to just chill most of the time but does enjoy walks. He is cautious at first but once comfortable loves to play in the yard with another dog (female ). He is fine alone but loves to just lay near you and rest. He rarely barks, likes to be outside for a short time but prefers to chill inside. He does need someone who has some experience in dog training. He can be apprehensive about new situations/people and will retreat back to old habits( retreat and just lay down) if an aggressive training style is used. I want the transition to go well and will be giving new home a majority of his things(leash, bed etc).
