Lois female 2 years old 6.8lbs mix Look at this gorgeous sweet little lady! Lois' story is of such great pain and sadness until now. Lois was in a death camp of a shelter in Korea, and she gave birth to 5 puppies. The Korean Rescue stepped in and got everyone out to save their lives and give them a chance at life. But, 4 of the babies could not be saved & they lost their lives. This is extremely dreadful and the reality here of this situation. It shows the dedication of the Korean rescue. We are beyond extremely grateful to the Korean Rescue who tirelessly save these precious souls lives such as Mong Mong (who is also looking for his forever home), and his mum Lois. Lois is now a US citizen & looking for her loving forever home, she is 6.8 lbs Chihuahua-Dachshund mix, we believe. She was spayed here by our amazing vet by laser, chipped, fully vaccinated, heart worm negative & dewormed 3 times. This little lady is in a foster home, loves people and other dogs, and can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home with someone home. Once she warms up to you she is one of the sweetest, loving, and calm little ladies you will ever meet. She also likes to play with her baby Mong Mong, and definitely needs a backyard as she enjoys running around the backyard with the freedom. A fenced yard is a must. She will absolutely need work on potty training, as do all of our beautiful rescues, but Lois has been working on going on potty pads and outside in her foster home. Lois is good with cats and children who are respectful to animals. We will only be accepting applications who meet all of the requirements for Lois. It's time for Lois to find her new forever home & can only go to a home with other dogs present in the home, someone who will work with her on potty training like all of her doggy friends & love & cherish her. Please only submit an application if you are truly interested in adopting Lois & have read her listing fully to the end & going through our process of your references being checked, a phone interview & a home visit followed with a meet & greet if it's a good fit with our discretion. We also cannot respond to every application unfortunately. Lois has an adoption fee of $600 & is ready to go to her forever family. __________________________ **IMPORTANT DETAILS - PLEASE READ** An application must be filled out before consideration for adoption. Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to commit a lifetime to him/her. We are an all-volunteer 501c3 non-profit group of animal lovers. Our adoption fee is non-negotiable as we need these funds to pay our current medical bills for our dogs as well as any future dogs we rescue as well. As an adopter, you must be prepared to accept the fact that these dogs are rescues and, just like you and I, they all have their own individual personalities. In most cases, these little ones have been through a difficult journey that started when their family gave them up or they became lost. They may have been under stress, neglected or even abused in their past life or frightened by being left alone on the streets to fend for themselves. When submitting an application, Please be 100% certain that you are committed to completing the adoption process. This includes having all household members in agreement of the dog adoption and being prepared to complete the adoption once approved. We are committed to placing each dog in the very best home possible. As an all volunteer rescue we spend several hours vetting and approving each applicant and every minute spent working on applicants that are not prepared to complete the adoption takes us away from saving another dogs life. This truly is a life and death matter for these precious souls. Thank you for your understanding. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, WE ARE AN ALL VOLUNTEER RESCUE WITH FULL-TIME JOBS. Please do not contact us to come look at a dog We will contact you once we have received and reviewed your completed application. A Home visit as well as a reference check MUST be completed before a meet & greet can be scheduled. Thank you for your patience and cooperation. Adoption Process All of our dogs are in foster homes, so please fill out an application on our website to meet them in person: www.aberdeenstr.com. Aberdeen Scottish Terrier Rescue is a 501(c)3 recognized charity. Our volunteers dedicate all their free hours to finding the best loving home for each of our dogs.
