THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR AN INDEPENDENT RESCUER. THIS IS NOT A PAWS WORLDWIDE FOSTER CAT. I am a very dapper fellow, as you can see, all dressed up in my tuxedo, but nowhere to go just yet! I am only about two years old. I don't know why, but I was homeless. Then I found myself trapped by a stranger who dumped me in a shelter to be killed! Naturally I was confused and scared, so I cowered in my cage. I wasn't even given a chance for anyone to meet me to see what a nice guy I am, just stuck in a back room waiting for them to do something called 'euthanasia' to me. Everybody else I saw in that room who got that done to them never came back, so I was really worried. I couldn't understand why anyone thought I deserved that! Then, one day my foster mom came and took me home with her, and I didn't hear that word anymore. I was still scared, but she was nice to me, so I let her pet me and I really liked it! She gave me soft beds to sleep on and fed me good food. It felt so good to be petted, so I let her do it more and more! I also love to play with toys and other cats! She got me something called 'fixed' too, and that's when a piece of my ear got taken off. I didn't know I was broken! Then I got vaccinated, tested for FeLV/FIV (I'm negative for both), and a microchip. Mom says it will make sure I never go without a home again. My foster mom says she loves me a lot, but wants me to find a loving forever home, where I will have a special person and a home to call my very own, so I can be their best friend in the whole world! If you want that to be you, talk to my foster mom about becoming my BFF! I am super sweet and get along really well with anyone - be it other cats or kittens, dogs and people!
