I was lost, dirty, hungry, afraid and alone on the streets, when I was caught in a trap and dumped in a shelter, where I was labeled 'feral,' whatever that is. All I really was, was scared. I was stuck in a cage and left to die there. Then someone said a person from a 'rescue' was going to save me, and I got so excited! When the 'rescue'came, they took the other cat who was going to die with me that day, but left me behind because the shelter told them I was 'feral.' I couldn't understand why no one wanted me! As things happened, it turned out to be my lucky day after all, because when my foster mom found out I'd been left behind, she came and got me just in the nick of time! I was very shy and still scared, but she was very patient. Now I'm very, VERY affectionate, LOVE to be petted, and purr all the time! Once I get to know you, I like to head butt you to show you how happy I am! Even though I sound like I have laryngitis all the time, that's my normal voice! I talk a lot too, especially when I see food coming! I don't play with toys much, but I do like feather wands! I'm about three or four years old, and as you can see, a BIG, handsome, very sweet black and white boy. The only thing I really don't like yet is being picked up. It scares me. If you let me come to you, I will come sit in your lap and even sleep with you. I would be the happiest kitty in the world to finally find that extra special person who will love me to pieces and keep me safe with them forever. I am super sweet and get along really well with anyone - be it other cats or kittens, dogs and people! I am housebroken, always use the litterbox, do not spray, do not scratch up the furniture, and am well-behaved.
