THIS IS A COURTESY POST FOR AN INDEPENDENT RESCUER. THIS IS NOT A PAWS WORLDWIDE FOSTER CAT. My foster mom thinks I'm a real firecracker, full of energy and fun! I was trapped and brought into a shelter when I was just a tiny kitten. I was scared and alone in the world, so of course, I was doing everything I could to defend myself, which got me labeled something called 'feral.' The shelter was going to kill me just for being scared! I was just a baby! Anyway, lucky for me I was pulled out of the shelter the day of my scheduled execution and taken home by my foster mom! The first part of my life was so traumatic, it's taken a long time for me to learn to trust, but mom was patient and now I've turned into something she calls a 'purr machine' when I get petted! I think that's good, she says it is! I love to be petted, and we are still working on the being picked up thing, because it's a little scary to me still. I am very vocal when it comes to food, and LOVE to eat, especially wet food! Mom says I need a loving forever home with someone who will appreciate my energy and be patient with me while I learn to settle down! I have a lot of love to give a very special person. I'm coming up on a year old, spayed, vaccinated, tested negative for FeLV/FIV and have a microchip to make sure I will never be without a home again! I am super sweet and get along really well with anyone - be it other cats or kittens, dogs and people! I was rescued from a high kill shelter in the nick of time and am at a foster home, but am really hoping a wonderful person chooses me to be part of a loving forever family.
