About Texan

Texan is 9 month old shepherd mix. At this point i think he is close to full grown and is just the perfect size dog, not too big, not too small. Texan is great with kids of all ages and even adores babies and toddlers. Texan does well with other animals, he loves other dogs and always wants to play with anybody who is willing, people, dogs, cats and he even tries to play with our potbelly pig though our pig hasn't decided to pay any attention to him ��%BD��%BD��%BD��%BD. As I said he is good with cats but does try to play with them, he soon realizes what cats will play back and what ones do not want anything to do with him and gives them their space. Like any young pup he has spurts of high energy but some playtime and exercise daily keeps him happy and calm. He loves to snuggle and be by his people. Texan is very athletic, and quick to learn, I think he would make a great agility competition dog. Texan can be timid with new people but once he gets to know you he will open up and is just the most loving and loyal pup. Please consider adopting Texan. Texan is being fostered in Richmond Illinois and his fee is $300 (with a separate $100 deposit check that is shredded with proof of completion of spay/neuter) that includes age appropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption, microchip and health certificate.
