About Rodeo

Rodeo is a lively young boy who absolutely loves people. He's confident, fun and loves a good game. He is a true survivor and doesn't quit! When he was found, it was obvious that he had self-healed from a broken leg and tail after being hit by a car. We found him at a high-kill shelter in South Texas, where he unfortunately contracted distemper. But Rodeo, doesn't give up - ever! If it wasn't for his foster Mom stepping up to raise her hand to care for him, he most certainly wouldn't be here today to tell about...it was the sparkle in his eye that got us! Rodeo is about 1 year old and 33lbs and loves playing with big dogs, little dogs and everything in between�'�|.including cats and kids. Rodeo has very good manners, is doing awesome with crate training, walking on a leash and playing fetch. When playtime is over, he is a huge cuddle-bug; what a sweetheart. Oh, and worth mentioning, his past broken leg, does not stop him. Now that he's healed and healthy he's discovered his lightning speed and loves running�'�|.he seems to have some whippet or greyhound in him he's so fast. Rodeo is easy-going, loves life and everyone around him. He would be great with a family with an active lifestyle - preferably someone who enjoys running, playing and exploring new places on the weekend. He is such a sweet boy and a really great dog!
