About Harley

Harley is a sweet, loyal pup. Very timid. I rescued her from a backyard where she was chained up with no food or water. Her previous owner was going to take her to the pound and have her put down simply because she had slipped out of her collar and ran off. I took her and her companion in. She is semi house broken. Meaning if you aren't home or don't pay attention when she wants to go out she will do it by the door and then go hide. I do not know if he ever abused her. But someone said she acts like an abused pup. I've never hit her myself. She is a sweetie. She enjoys cuddles, and belly rubs and scratches behind the ears. I haven't had the chance to get her to the vet yet. She was way under weight when i got her. She has put on some weight since then. I attempted to keep her as an outside pup but she like the companion enjoys jumping the fence and exploring so... she to is inside when i am not home. I believe she would thrive in the country and with children. She was very fond of my nephew when he visits. She enjoys sleeping in bed with me, and recently decided to sleep in the plastic storage i use as a laundry basket. She enjoys looking out the window, so if you aren't home and she is inside raise your blinds and open the curtains. She enjoys water. At one point I had a kiddie pool but her nails poked holes in the bottom She will come with her dog igloo i bought when i got her and her food and water dishes.
