About Yancey, Adopted

Hello, my name is Yancey or as my foster folks call me 'Fancy Yancey' I am very laid back and gentle according to my foster parents , and I just love laying beside you with my head in your lap ! I do like to greet you with a wiggle jiggle boxer butt, and cover you with kisses sometimes too, but mostly I'm happy just chillin ! I am potty trained , (I am proud of the fact that I have not had a single accident in my foster home) , I am crate trained and will happily walk in to go to bed when asked, and sleep the whole night thru without so much as a whimper. In fact my foster folks say I'm unusually quiet as they have not heard me bark at all , guess that's unusual for a girl (my foster dad told me that) but I guess I just don't have much to say. Mom and Dad say I'm a tad bit on the 'chunky side' just a tad, but we're working on that, bikini season is just around the corner. If you come to meet me, you might notice me bumping into things a little, (but not like a bull in the china shop bumping) just enough that I know to change direction a little ,maybe that's why I'm so cautious and deliberate in my walking , I seem to have some vision problems, but we are getting checked soon, but don't worry I get around just fine if you'll be willing to keep a close eye on me and talk to me as we're walking so I know the coast is clear when we're out and about . As for in the house, I learn very quickly where the obstacles are and even conquered going up and down the stairs fearlessly! They say I must be able to see somewhat because I can follow you around and recognize some things in my surroundings, I even play fetch with a ball and bring it back to you, I am happy to have three fur siblings here (one of my kind, you know a boxer, we like to snuggle together on the couch, and two little short stubby ones my foster folks call bulldogs) and we all get along just fine . Well , yawn , I think I'll take a little nap now (I like naps) but keep looking for more about me , I'll keep you up to date about my vision as we learn more. Maybe I'll dream of you, you know my furever adoptive home!
