About Alexa

Alexa was filthy and scared when she was first picked up and dropped off to a shelter where no one ever showed up to claim her. She is a little shy, but in just 36 hours she went from not wanting to be near anyone to letting a volunteer give her a bath and laying at their feet. Alexa will need a little confidence building but she us walking well on a leash. With time and love, she should blossom into a wonderful family member. Alexa is about 3 years old and 17 pounds. Please help Alexa find the loving home she deserves. From Alexa's Foster Mom: Alexa is doing wonderful. She gets along with everyone. She is house-trained and has very few accidents. She walks great on a leash. She loves the kids and the other dogs. She has one quirk we are working on, Alexa does not like to be picked up. She will have an accident if you move to fast or will slouch against the floor (submissive peeing). Otherwise she will easily come over to you when you call her.
