About Azul

Azul is basically a good dog, but he's had a heck of a life, even as short as his has been. Daughter rescued him but lost her house and job and he basically got dumped on another daughter, and then on us. He wasn't good with cats, thus he got relegated to the dog run and isn't allowed off leash. He's better now, is good with them while ON leash, but we are too concerned to let him off leash. We have a 2nd pit who hates this dog and is aggressive towards him but is good with all the other animals, so that means this dog is still locked up. He's good with all the female dogs and male dogs who don't try to intimidate him. I raise small dogs so I cant let him around my breeding male for fear the small dog will be aggressive towards Azul and get himself killed. This dog needs a home where he can have a yard and not have to live confined in a dog run all the time. He's great towards people, we just hate the life he has to lead right now and want better for him!! Hubby is threatening to take him to the pound but we fear he'll be euthanized. We absolutely do not want him going to any dog fighters either! He is an excellent watch dog once he thinks of your place as his... when he lived in town he stayed in the yard and he never let strangers in the yard!! He never made me nervous around my young grandkids, even in their wading pool. He loves the water! Please rescue this poor dog from his confinement, it's not his fault he's had such a hard time.
