About Penelope

My name is Penelope and I'm a beautiful MinPin with a precious underbite and snaggle tooth grin. I approximately one year old and weigh 10 lbs. My previous owner surrendered me to the shelter because they could no longer care for me, so I'm not sure what happened. Luckily my foster dad came and rescued me from that scary shelter. I live with two foster brothers and get along well with them. I sometimes try to resource guard my foster dad's lap, but it's not too aggressive, just a little low growling and I stop when he tells me to. I'm not the top dog at my foster home, so I am still learning how to fit in after being there a week. I just got spayed and when we went to the vet's office to get my sutures removed, there was an office cat sitting on the counter and I didn't have a negative reaction. Just sort of looked at him and went on about my business, so I might have lived with cats in my original home. I can be a typical MinPin barky girl, especially when I'm excited, like when you first get home from work, but after a bit, I'm snoring in your lap, or on the couch. I even do what my foster dad tells me so I may have had some obedience training. I'm still figuring out the doggie door and it seems like I'm already pee-pad trained, so I will probably be easily house broken if not already so.
