About Honey Bun

Hi y'all. My name is Honey and I am sure you can tell by my initial greeting I am from down south, Memphis, Tennessee to be exact. I was born and raised a Tennessee football fan but my allegiance will change for you now that I am in your turf. Right now I am in the shelter and I sure would like to get out soon!! I am getting rather stressed and I need your hospitality. I need a home. Be it a foster or an adopter, I need to de-stress. Please consider me. So let me tell you a little bit about myself, I'm awesome! I don't mean to be stuck up but I caught your attention didn't I? Oh yeah and how about my tongue? Is that not the largest piece of ham you have ever seen? Anyway, I'm a good looking southern gal who loves people and kids. I will get excited when I first meet you and jump a little, but I will calm down after a few minutes. In my prior foster home I lived with 2 other dogs and played great with them. I will get along well with other dogs as long as the introduction is done slowly so I can gain my confidence around them. Even though I can be energetic I also have a mellow side. One of my favorite things to do is lay on the couch at night with someone and rest my head in their lap. I am really good at sleeping all night on my dog bed. I am housetrained and never have accidents. I know 'sit' and 'backup' when someone is trying to get out the door. I have not had alot of 'one on one' training but I am smart and eager to please. I love to ride in the car and watch the birds out the window. I will chase them if you let me. Does that make me a 'Bird Dog'?
