About Stripes

Stripes is a senior dog (10+) spayed, who is very affectionate, and needs some well deserved attention & care. She's a very active dog despite her age & needs someone who understands the quirks & eccentricities of Terriers/Rat Terriers. I want to disclose that while she was well loved by her elderly owner - her living situation was/is not ideal. She has been bullied by larger dogs & has not had much time dedicated towards her for exercise nor getting love - due to her owner being quite infirm & unable to keep up with any of the animals that we're now trying to re-home. As far as we know she is healthy - she has a benign tumor on her shoulder, but otherwise appears in good health. Stripes knows quite a few tricks including sit, lay down, roll over & dance (I think)�'�| She's very attentive & knows her name well! Stripes would probably do best in a single dog household - BUT might do well with other dogs pending their temperaments. I am trying to find her a good fit so she can have a happy healthy family in her twilight years. Stripes comes with a collar, leash, hard carrier, and toys. We want her to be somewhere happy in a place where she doesn't feel threatened & bullied by bigger dogs. She deserves some peace & happiness.
