Bo (almost 2 years old) came to us by way of the Levy County animal shelter. Little was known about him other than he has lived on farms- lol he doesn't bark when the doorbell rings. We have come to realize that he is not happy being indoors in a suburban neighborhood and especially with no other dogs to play with. He has play dates with neighbors dogs but it is not enough, he needs a dog of his own. You can take the dog out of the country but you cant take take the country out of the dog. He has a lot of energy, loves to run, play and explore. He is extremely curious. He would thrive with a family that had acreage and other dogs. He has had some chewing problems but that is mostly due to being kept in all day and bored. He truly loves the great outdoors. He is a traditionalist, he likes to bury his bones in the backyard. He loves tug of war with his rope. He is OK with cats (he has been around 4 but needs the boundaries set pretty quickly) He seems to be OK with children but has had no direct contact other than when he goes for walks. He still jumps when he is excited so a small child might not be a great idea. He knows sit and leave it and walks loose leash. Please serious enquirers only.
