About Percy

One of the great mysteries of life....how on earth has someone not adopted this amazing dog? Percy is a head turning show stopper with amazing looks who LOVES all people. He wants to be next to you, near you, on you, as much as possible! A more loyal pup you will not find. Percy, is a 1 year old, 60 lb mutt (whose breed, as our best guess, would probably be Lab/Boxer mix) who is house and crate trained with lots of typical young dog energy. He LOVES to run and play, thinks hiking is great, a trip to the beach for a quick swim makes his day, and he is fantastic with other dogs. We'd really like to find him a home with another friendly dog (and a fully fenced yard!) so he and his canine sib can happily engage in a game of Chase the Tail. He literally is just a gorgeous ball of fun and happiness! He lights up around kids, but they need to be dog savvy because he can be mouthy when he gets super happy and excited. He'd do really well in a home where someone is home more often than not because he LOVES human attention, and sitting crated all day long is not a lot of fun for any dog - let alone one who is so people oriented.
