About CHAMP

Meet CHAMP. We don't know much about his history as he came into rescue as a stray. He was emaciated and forlorn and worse, desparately in need of a hero. CHAMP quickly became a shelter volunteer favorite and he found his lifesaver. He didn't come into the rescue in great condition, but as you can see by his pictures, after two months in a loving, nurturing foster home, he has become a handsome strong boy. He is about 3.5 years old, 65 lbs and appears to be German Shepherd mix. Everyone that meets CHAMP describes him as a super sweet man, a loving and gentle soul. His foster mom says he's very playful, walks well on a leash, loves to be with his people, loves to snuggle and get pets, takes treats gently and gets along well with his foster fur siblings. He's crate trained, housebroken and has good house manners. He meets children politely and tries to play with cats but he doesn't currently live with either. Because of his size, he should be in a home with only older well behaved children. He also enjoys chilling outside on the deck enjoying the sights and sounds of the season. CHAMP is ready to find the perfect forever home, one where he will be loved and cherished for the rest of his life.
