Hi, my name is Dolly and I'm a bull-doggie mix, 3 1/2 years old, about 63 pounds (at my perfect weight), and mostly white --- sweet, sweet rescued doggie with a passion to be happy. How can a rescue dog be happy? Well, after being used time again for breeding and seeing my beautiful little puppies being taken away and sold, and THEN being abandoned on the streets, I am just so grateful to have a loving foster home. When they took me in, I had a complete vet examination and full shots, was spayed (thank goodness that part of my life is over), got a micro-chip, and I am in tip-top health and shape. My teeth are sparkly white and my breath is fresh too! I like to think I have a positive attitude because, after all, life is what you make it, right? I am now ready to move on to a loving, friendly forever home. I do have a few requests that are pretty important for me. I need to be the only four legged furry friend in my new home. I just prefer humans so much more than other dogs or cats. It is a little less stressful for me and to be truthful, I like the attention of being an 'only child'. However, kids entertain me and I seem to do the same for them. I love the belly rubs and body massages --- will you have time to give them to me? I am hoping my new family will have a grassy backyard and a doggy door would just be AWESOME, an apartment environment will not work for me. Did I mention I was house-trained too, yip, no accidents. I'm not much for barking but will alert you when strangers may be around. My foster calls me Miss Wiggles because my bottom and tail wiggle non-stop. I will sit for treats (oh those peanut buttery ones!) and I behave when going for leashed walks, and will be eager to learn more commands. My rescuer mommy is offering to pay for professional dog training classes so I can become the very best, well-behaved doggie ever for you!! I am a smart girly so no doubt I will learn quickly and will enjoy the tutoring challenges and opportunities. Great walking buddy - won't drag you on the leash. Loves car rides and won't get car sick, excellent in the car. Very affectionate. Quiet - not a barker. No slobbering or drooling. Great with children. Enjoy playing independently with my toys and balls. Will sleep thru the night and won't bother you, great sleeping companion and couch buddy. I come with my cushy bed, sack of supreme dog food, wire crate, set of vaccination records (good for one year), collar, and durable leash.
