About Amora

Amora is a 5 year old angel with the pibble heart of gold. In the past 5 years she has moved with her human to 4 different states and adapted instantly. As long as she can give love, she is genuinely happy. She is a high energy dog who would love to run around and play all day but is equally content plopping down in her favorite spot and napping the day away. She has never show signs of aggression towards another dog however would do best with a male. She spent the first 1.5yrd of her life growing up with a female Shiba Inu and another 6 months with a female Maltese. The remaining 3 years she was best friends with a male Great Dane/Boxer mix. She would do best without cats around as she seems to believes they are toys. As my infant daughter grew we could not get her to understand what a small child is. She filled our daughter with kisses one moment and not the sweet soft kind, the typical Pitbull hold you down and smooch you til you're clean kind. Another moment she showed signs of jealously, craving attention anytime it was given to my daughter or girlfriend. This never got aggressive although she did show signs of annoyance on different occasions towards my daughter. She has been around life long dog owners her entire life who understand and practice obedience training. Amora is a very good dog that is deserving of an environment that will improve her quality of life. After exhausting all options that environment is something I cannot provide for her. I am very torn but this is what is absolutely best for my sweet girl and she deserves a life I cannot provide for her. Personally, I was adopted at birth and as any dog lover knows these animals are like our children. As much as I would love to keep my baby girl, it would be selfish of me to do so. She is up to date on all shots. Her allergies flair up with certain foods and I am willing to provide food for her for the first 90 days in her new home. She also has a wellness plan through Banfield which I will keep intact and pay for the first 90 days. I would be more than happy to bring my baby into your home for a visit before moving forward with setting her forever home and would feel better doing so.
