About Poe

Poe is fostered in Miramar, FL (Broward County). We are a foster-based rescue and always looking for foster families! Poe is a border collie mix, DOB 11/23/17. He is around 15 lbs and will likely be a medium-sized adult dog. Possible breed mixes are mini Aussie or poodle. Poe loves kids and other dogs, and is eager to play. He loves toys. He is vocal when he wants to play, eat or go out. He is very cuddly and loving. He will need a bit of work with minor food guarding. He likes bathtime. As with any puppy, Poe will need work with leash training, housebreaking and crate training. Poe's litter survived parvovirus, and as such he cannot go to a home with puppies or dogs who are unvaccinated and/or immunocompromised. Poe will go home with a neuter contract - when he is altered at 6 months of age and proof is submitted, $50 of his adoption donation can be refunded. Poe is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccines and preventives, and microchipped.
