About Apollo

Apollo is a Purebreed English Mastiff and comes from the McRae Valley Mastiffs of Idaho bloodline. Apollo is a submissive, sensitive, goofy pup of only 4.5yrs. We have raised him with our 2 children since my son was a baby until now. Apollo likes children but is clumsy so like any breed needs to be watched around small children so they don't get stepped on. We are rehoming Apollo due to my sons allergies. We have tried to see if they would get better but they are only getting worse. Apollo has many years of life left and I would like him to be able to spend them as a inside/outside dog vs. having to stay outside all the time ( yes he has a covered patio, 3 car garage, queen size bed and a quater acre of space so is doing fine outside). Mastiffs are family dogs and prefer to be snoozinhg at your feet vs staying outside. Apollo does have food allergies so needs to eat grain free food. Currently he is eating 4H beef and potato grain free food but had also eaten Costco Natures brand grain free food. If you can't provide a grain free diet then Apollo will not be a good fit because he will becone very ill if not on one. Like most Giant breeds ge needs to take a Glucosamine vitamin to help with joints. All of his records are up to date and he is neutered. I would prefer and be giving preference to a household that has older children or no children. Can provide a nice large fenced yard or acreage. A retired couple or someone that has at least one stay at home member that would be able to interact with Apollo. If interested give just email and we will get back to you.
